to carry out works within the confines of Tim Smythe Park, Lifford, Ennis. The works involve the following: I. to upgrade and extend the existing changing room building. This will consist of shower areas, changing rooms, toilets, services area and caretaker's office, replace existing roof with new. ii. To provide new extension and link section connecting to upgraded changing rooms. The new extension will consist of changing rooms shower areas, toilets and accessible changing room. iii. To re-locate part of the existing basketball court surface and fencing to accommodate the proposed extension. iv. To connect the upgraded changing rooms and proposed extension unit to existing site services. v. All associated site works pertaining to the upgraded changing area and proposed extension. The site / development is located within the Ennis Architectural Conservation Area and the proposed work would materially affect the character of the area concerned. In accordance with the Habitats Directive, Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the project. An Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) screening determination has been made and concludes that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development
